A CHARITABLE EXHIBITION OF LIMITED ART EDITIONS

Mit Rückblick auf ein erfolgreiches Jahr 2011 möchte die Circleculture Gallery gerne etwas zurückgeben. In diesem Sinne laden wir zu der Gruppenausstellung GIVE mit hochwertigen Editionsdrucken ein, deren Erlöse in Teilen dem Amani Waisenhaus in Mbigili, Tansania gestiftet werden.
Die Ausstellung findet in Kooperation mit CHARITY at [ ] statt, einer Wohltätigkeitsorgani sation, die mit Hilfe von Events wie z.B. Dinnerveranstaltungen Spendengelder aufbringt. CHARITY at [ ] wurde gemeinsam von dem Unternehmer Thomas Steinle, dem Journalisten Ingo Lenz und dem Berliner Nachtclub-Besitzer Heinz Gindullis a.k.a. Cookie ins Leben gerufen www.charityat.com.
Die Editionen der Ausstellung variieren in Technik, Größe und Auflage. Zu erwarten sind Werke von Raymond Pettibon, Katrin Fridriks, David Shrigley, Jaybo Monk, Harmony Korine, Aaron Rose, Stefan Strumbel, Stohead, Kevin Earl Taylor, XOOOOX, Jonathan Yeo, sowie Larry Clark, Terry Richardson, Ed Templeton, Tobin Yelland u.a.
Die limitierten Drucke sind vor Ort in der Galerie erhältlich oder über den Onlineshop unter www.circleculture-gallery.com/give. Die Arbeiten liegen in einer Preisspanne von ca. 100,- EUR bis 1.000,- EUR. Mit jedem Erwerb geht ein Teil des Erlöses an das Waisenhaus in Tansania.
Im Rahmen der Ausstellung GIVE möchten wir den Besuchern in wohnlicher Atmosphäre die Möglichkeit zum Entspannen und zum Lesen bieten in einem Raum, der zum inhaltlichen Austausch inspiriert. Eine vorweihnachtliche Stimmung mit Glühwein und Gebäck lädt dazu ein, auf unseren Sofas zu verweilen.
Through the GIVE exhibition, Circleculture Gallery is taking the opportunity to bestow something back to the greater community. The gallery and a selection of its artists wish to produce a variety of limited fine art edition prints for the occasion.
Our selected charity, CHARITY at [ ], is an organisation that hosts dinners and arranges projects and events to raise money to support the Amani Orphan’s home Mbigili in Tansania. The organisation was initiated by entrepreneur Thomas Steinle, journalist Ingo Lenz and the Berlin nightclub owner Heinz Gindullis a.k.a. Cookie www.charityat.com
The editions will vary in size, technique and edition run. We can expect works from Raymond Pettibon, Katrin Fridriks, David Shrigley, Jaybo Monk, Harmony Korine, Aaron Rose, Stefan Strumbel, Stohead, Kevin Earl Taylor, XOOOOX, Jonathan Yeo, as well as Larry Clark, Terry Richardson, Ed Templeton, Tobin Yelland et al.
These limited prints will be available for sale at the gallery and via www.circleculturegallery.com/give. The price range varies from approximately €100,- up to €1.000,-. A part from every sale will be donated to the Amani Orphan’s home in Tansania.
With the exhibition GIVE, we wish to invite people into our home, our gallery and create a warm and inviting environment, to sit, relax, read, discuss and observe with each other, providing couches, mulled wine and Christmas treats.
